Who we are:
Established in 1926 at the University of Alabama, Alpha Epsilon Delta, the National Pre-Medical Honor Society, has since become the world's largest body dedicated to pre-medical education, with a membership exceeding 100,000 in 166 chapters.

Our mission:
The object of the society is to encourage and recognize excellence in pre-medical scholarship; to promote cooperation and contacts between medical and pre-medical students and educators in developing an adequate program of pre-medical education; to bind together similarly interested students; and to use its knowledge for the benefit of health care, charities, and community.
