We
have taken the responsibility of helping to restore a wetland through
the "Adopt-a-Spot" program. This wetland was dedicated to
the memory of Ray Birdsong, a former professor at Old Dominion University.
It is located next to the Larchmont Library, just north of ODU on
Hampton Boulevard. We clean up the wetland at least four times per
year and assist the Elizabeth River Project with its planting, weeding,
and mulching. |
