To be a member of GSO:

simply log-on to co-curricular transcript.  If you do not have an account yet, follow the below directions below in Part 1. If you do have an account already established, jump to Part 2.

Part 1

• Under the "New User?" link, click on Create An Account
• Enter your ODU email address and your password as if you were logging in to your student email account.
• Once you have signed up as a New User, log-in to your account.
• You will be asked to fill in information to include your name, University ID number (UIN), address, phone number, etc. Filling in information pertaining to your volunteer interests and time commitments is not mandatory to sign-up.
• Once you have completed this step, follow the directions stated in Part 2.

Part 2

• Log-in to your account using your ODU email address and your previously created password.
• Click on Student Organization Involvement, the most left-hand box.
• You will see a list of Student Organizations that you are currently involved in, if any. Under this list, choose Join An Organization.
• Under the heading, "Click into the field below." There will be a drop-down box that states "Please select an organization." Scroll down and Select the Graduate Student Organization.
• Read the disclosure statement that appears below your selection. Check the box indicating you agree with the disclosure statement. Then, click on the "Join Organization" box. 
• You should see a statement below that reads:  "You have successfully joined the organization as a general member. If you are an officer or advisor of this organization, please update your membership status."

Congratulations!

You are now a member of the Graduate Student Organization. Now it's time to get involved!!
