Hello, and welcome to the online home of Old Dominion University's Anime Club! We're in our eighth operating year, having been founded by Rachel Klein in 2001. It is our goal to be the community for those fans of anime, video games, Japanese culture, trading card games, cosplaying, and any other associated activity you can think of... and so far, we're doing a pretty good job! So come on out and join us!
If you don't know where to start, don't worry! We were all new to anime club once. So we proudly present to you the ODUAC website, equipped with all of the tools you need to plunge into anime club with minimum stress. Afraid you won't recognize anybody? Head on over to the members section and check everyone out. Don't know where to start? Go to the calendar section and find out about upcoming events. We have weekly meetings, sure, but we also have major events, like our infamous minicon, Anime Fest. And, good-natured geeks that we are, there are also community service opportunities. If you'd like to start off small, though, you can usually come hang out with us in front of the Lion's Den in Webb Center while school's in session. Though there can be people there all the time, peak hours are between 10am and 4pm.
There's something for everyone here at anime club, so we know there's something for you, too. So come try us out, and be ready for a good time!
