CALL FOR RESEARCH AWARD APPLICATIONS
The Research Committee of Epsilon Chi Chapter is soliciting applications for the two annual research awards described below: The Individual Research Award and the Collaborative Research Award. Qualified applicants are encouraged to submit an application that has clinical relevance and describes a research study that will advance knowledge in the area of nursing science. The deadline for submission of the application, current curriculum vitae and study proposal is 5pm EST on Friday, March 31, 2006. The purpose of this award is to encourage individual qualified nurses to advance knowledge in the area of nursing science. The amount of this award is $2000.
The purpose of this award is to encourage collaborative investigation by qualified nurses to advance knowledge in the area of nursing science. Participants must establish that the research study will be conducted by investigators from two or more different nursing specialties or agencies. The amount of this award will be $3000.
Presentation of awards
The awards will be presented at the 2 pm April 9, 2006 Epsilon Chi Induction ceremony.
*Award recipients must be present at the ceremony to receive the award.
